Vision statement for We R Culture: a Canadian federally registered non profit organisation Christian social justice resource tools Our goal is to provide pastors and the entire church body from children to seniors with age appropriate tools to exam the issues, plus strategies for action and prayer specifically designed for the local church.  Each issue will be looked at through the lens of Genesis: asking the questions, "What did God originally create?” “What was His original plan?"  Our goal is not to attack positions that oppose God's plan but to, as best as we are able, articulate clearly and simply our understanding of that original plan. Then depending upon the issue and age group, create a response that builds logically on simple "self evident" truths much like the methods employed by C.S.Lewis in Mere Christianity. For each social challenge we will have a 5 phase program, available for churches at little or no cost to them Many of the resources created will be internet based. 1) Providing simple, age appropriate Sunday School media that promotes the Evangelical     Christian understanding of life here on Earth. Building a simple framework of principles to     help guide children to making good choices. 2) Teach the youth/young adults. Creating or repackaging existing media to bring high quality     accurate information that is age appropriate and visually appealing to this age group. Provide a     clear set of actions that can be implemented and adopted. 3) Educate the adults.  Creating or repackaging existing media to bring high quality accurate     information that is age appropriate and visually appealing to this age group. Provide a clear set     of actions that can be implemented and adopted. 4) Prayer. Provide a structure for prayer over each social issue. Providing the church prayer     group with both up to date information and suggested prayer resources as they pray for their     church and surrounding community. 5) Provide a pastoral brief: a short synopsis of the issue with citations for further study. Keeping     it as accurate and up to date as possible. Follow up and monitoring success rates: We also want to find ways to improve our media expressions. By tracking responses we hope to monitor success rates and will seek to improve the media created. With certain social issues we will put out yearly updates to remind people of the follow through actions they can take. For groups wanting to use these resources all original media will be created with the option of adding local groups names to encourage local support. We do not want to take away support from local initiatives but want to support and promote them with our resources. The first phase of the project will tackle the social justice issue of abortion. We will be providing the above services to pregnancy care centers around Canada. This will give them tools to pass along to donor churches as well as prospective donor churches. If you have any questions of would like us to create something on a specific issue or trend, please email Statement of Faith: We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles,       in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension       to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life      and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
